The Scarborough Bluffs Rotary Club had the privilege of joining Cliffside Public School for their annual Brush-a-Mania celebration. A vibrant, high-energy event dedicated to promoting oral health among students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6.
Club President Veronica DeSantos, along with Rotarians Dr. Edith Wambayi and Stephanie Cicciarella, were on hand to help deliver the message that healthy habits start young. Through interactive activities, laughter, and plenty of toothbrushes, the team helped turn dental hygiene into something exciting and memorable.
But this wasn’t just about brushing teeth, it was about building community resilience. Rotary’s involvement was vital because oral health is deeply connected to overall well-being, academic performance, and self-esteem.
By showing up, we reinforced our commitment to youth wellness, preventative education, and the belief that every child deserves to thrive.
Moments like these remind us why Rotary matters. We’re not just a service club, we’re a movement of people who care deeply about the future of our communities. And we’re already counting down to Brush-a-Mania 2026, ready to bring even more smiles and support.
